The Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation (GBIC) is excited to announce the appointment of Marcela Sáenz as its new Director of Marketing and Communications. In this role, Marcela will enhance GBIC’s efforts to showcase the region’s potential, engaging partners and stakeholders while promoting the organization’s initiatives to drive economic development in the southernmost region of Texas.

Marcela brings extensive experience in community development, where she spearheaded the creation, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations strategies. Her expertise in storytelling and stakeholder engagement will support GBIC’s efforts to attract investment that generates job opportunities for Brownsville residents and strengthens the local economy.
